I did find standing to be alot easier than before and climbing not as exhausting. Give them hell tomorrow at your Tri!! I will be thinking of you on my ride.Tiffanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18433636999340796312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2840271071515503158.post-7740091065416474942009-05-16T06:55:00.000-04:002009-05-16T06:55:00.000-04:00Sorry -- one more thing.
On your cleats... some...Sorry -- one more thing.

On your cleats... someone shared a tip with me that I loved. We tilted them inward, just ever so slightly (as if you were pigeon toed, but not to that extreme); just EVER so slightly! Anyway, it gave me some extra comfort on the longer rides. Getting the right fit on your bike can make or break it for you!Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09531066471698015279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2840271071515503158.post-37682888653181537932009-05-16T06:52:00.000-04:002009-05-16T06:52:00.000-04:00"I know I will probably have a great weigh in..."I know I will probably have a great weigh in next week but that doesn't change how I feel today. It doesn't change things and I won't give up but now that I have less than 50 pounds to lose (all of which I seem to be carrying in my lower stomach, thighs, and ass)"

You know what, I could have written this. I feel you "sister", more than I care to admit. Ugh!

I could give you all the positive talk, but I don't think I need to. Keep doing the right thing and eventually you'll see your effort pay off.

I've had the last 50 to lose since last April and finally got some answers. I mean, who trains for the MS150 and triathlons and doesn't lose. I was both happy and said to find out I was hypothyroid.

For me, the biggest challenge was not letting the scale dictate my disposition for the day. We so quickly forget the amazing things our bodies right now, even with 50 extra lbs. We "disgust" ourselves and and get frustrated. We say things to ourselves we'd never say to our best friend.

You are going to reach your goals... I can see your dedication.

Now, get back on that bike, cupcake! :)

Speaking of cupcakes, there is a triathlon in Austin, TX. It's call the "Sweet & Twisted" tri. When you finish they celebrate with Mimosas and Cupcakes.

Heh, heh -- not sure that's a good thing. You can do it!!
Scales are quite ...Don't give up!! You can do it!!
Scales are quite frankly the pitts and quite franky mess with the brain and the heart - well mine does anyway. I shocked my WW group by being the first to burst into tears in frustration even though I had lost. For them it was great for me, it was come on - only 600 grams. I sweat my ass off at the gym practically 7 days a week, two of those days are with a personal trainer. I eat right...etc etc and the scale just isn't moving or moving fast enough. And I hear you about those people who only have a few to lose.....I got many stories to tell you.

Chin up and if it is any comfort remember somewhere over that huge big ocean that separates us is me going through the same emotions.

I'm saving for a bike. I cannot wait till I can afford the one I want one day. :))

Keep at it, keep strong...you're doing great.

Michelle
South AfricaShellyDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17452447638666408435noreply@blogger.com
